TUCSON - Two record highs reached with more heat into this week.
Tucson was just able to eke out 85° this afternoon tying the record high for a February 16 which was originally set back in 1994. The high cloud cover kept us a little cooler than the record high of 88° set on Saturday.
We'll continue to see on and off high cloud cover for President's Day along with another record high. We should be able to reach 85° on Monday which is good enough to surpass the 83° record which was also set back in 1994.
The 80s hang around into Wednesday before a slow cool down takes over for the end of the week. The 70s should stick around into next weekend but that may be short lived with more winter warmth to follow.
