Record heat could be headed this way

TUCSON - Today's high in Tucson reached 73 degrees which is several degrees above average for late January. So the unusually stretch of warm and dry weather continues.

Wednesday will be similar, with a few high clouds and temps in the low to mid 70s; but according to Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode, we could top 80 by Thursday. Thursday's record is 82 - which was set back in 1987.

Cooler weather arrives by the weekend and will last into next week.
