TUCSON - Fairweather lottery players had better get in line today. The largest jackpot in Powerball history is now even bigger.

Powerball officials say they've boosted the jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing to $500 million, in response to a huge national increase in ticket sales. It was previously posted $425 million.

The jackpot is the largest ever for the Powerball game. The previous top Powerball prize was $365 million, won in 2006 by ConAgra Foods Workers in Lincoln, Neb.
