Thrilled to be back in her hometown, Rebecca Taylor is the weekend anchor and evening reporter.

Taylor is an award winning broadcast journalist, whose live reports have appeared on CNN and entertainment magazine show Inside Edition.

She spent the last 3 years in Phoenix, reporting for KTVK- TV, where she was a regular fill-in anchor. Taylor covered a variety of assignments from breaking news, to interviewing celebrities and musicians such as legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and Alice Cooper.

Taylor got her start in TV news as an intern at News 4. Upon graduation from the University of Arizona with a degree in communications and music, she landed her first job in Great Falls, Montana as the morning and noon anchor.

Taylor's next move brought her to Tucson, where she was the first on-air reporter for KMSB Fox 11. She covered some of Southern Arizona's biggest stories; including the Aspen Fire on Mt. Lemmon and the Lewis Prison hostage standoff, the longest in U.S history. Taylor reported live for CNN round the clock.

One of Taylor's proudest accomplishments as a reporter is her dedicated coverage of school crosswalk safety. She researched accidents involving children and cars, which prompted Tucson city officials to install additional pedestrian walkways and brighter flashing lights in school zones and at busy intersections around town.

When she's not gathering the news, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and singing country music. Taylor also enjoys classical music and received three college scholarship offers related to her talent playing the clarinet.
