TUCSON - A man who suffers from mental illness woke up earlier this week and called 911.
The man reported a dead body in the house and man with a gun inside, one of the residents in the house said.
Tucson Police responded and realized the 911 report was bogus. There was no body or armed man. The man who made the call was arrested for false reporting.
Residents inside the home were shocked when the police arrived at the home just before 7 a.m. One resident, a man who goes by Dave Susmilch on Facebook, said he was about to leave for work when the police ordered everyone to get out of the house.
"I was supposed to be to work at 7 a.m. I was just kissing my girl goodbye for the day when I heard over the P.A. "occupants come out w your hands up," Susmilch said.
