TUCSON - Surveillance video released by the Pima County Sheriff's Department allegedly shows two suspects using a credit card that was stolen from a west side residence earlier in the day, along with some 75 timepieces and jewelry.
On October 17, deputies responded to a home in the 3500 block of North Green Gulch after the homeowner reported a break-in, according to a PCSD news release.. The victim said about 75 timepieces had been stolen from his watch collection, along with his wife's jewelry and an American Express Card. The value of the stolen property was estimated at about $30,000.
In the afternoon of that same day, sheriff's officials say the suspect or suspects went on a two-hour shopping spree using the stolen card. They spent about $900 on goods, including diapers, at a variety stores.
Two people are caught on surveillance camera, allegedly using the stolen card. PCSD has released the videos, and are asking anyone who can identify the suspects, or has additional information, to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
