(NBC NEWS) - It was time for a checkup for one of the San Diego Zoo's newest and fuzziest arrivals.

This was the 12th veterinary exam for the zoo's baby giant panda, who turned 100 days old today.

He weighed in at a healthy 9.2 pounds and measured over 23 inches from nose to tail.

Veterinary staff had their hands full trying to keep him still long enough to get accurate measurements!

The cub will officially receive his name in a public ceremony at the zoo November 13th.
