TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued multiple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in and around the Tucson metro.

The first Severe Thunderstorm Warning is for eastern Pima & western Cochise County until 4:15 PM, including Rita Ranch, Vail and Benson. Radar indicates a storm capable of 60+ MPH winds and locally heavy rainfall. Movement is to the north at 15 MPH.
Another Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for east central Pima County until 4:15 PM, including South Tucson & the Tucson International Airport. This storm is also capable of damaging microburst winds & torrential rainfall. Movement is to the north at 5 MPH.
A Flood Advisory has also been issued for eastern Pima County until 5:45 PM, as washes/streams will likely be running for the next few hours.
