TUCSON - In today's "Raising Kids" segment Erin Lyons with First things First stopped by to tell us about Quality First, a high-quality education initiative for child care center in Arizona.
In Arizona, more than half of the children under six years old live in families where all the adults work, making quality child care an educational and economic necessity.
Both research and common sense tell us high quality child care makes a difference. Children in high-quality child care settings fare better in school, and develop better language and social skills.
