TUCSON - Quiet start to the week will give way to another round of gusty and dusty winds.
Tucson topped 82° today for the ninth straight afternoon with above average high temperatures. The start of the work week will go relatively unchanged with a forecast high near 80° and winds between 5-15mph.
We'll start to see some changes heading into Tuesday as a weak disturbance may bring a few sprinkles and dry lightning strikes to the mountains of Graham, Greenlee and Cochise Counties.
Tucson will stay dry as a stronger system moves to our north on Wednesday and Thursday but we will see an increase in wind speeds. Breezy to windy conditions expected for the middle of the work week with the main concerns being high fire danger and blowing dust.
Slightly cooler air will accompany this system with highs closer to normal for Thursday and Friday. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast by clicking here.
