Protest calls for ASDB superintendent's termination

TUCSON - Students and teachers weren't the only people showing up today for the first day of school at the Arizona School for the Deaf and the Blind.

About 20 protestors were across the street from ASDB this morning when school buses arrived.

They say Superintendent Robert Hill has failed the students, and they want him fired immediately.

All the protestors are A-S-D-B alumni or former teachers, and are deaf or hard of hearing. Superintendent Hill has been a lightning rod of controversy the past few years.

Tonight at 10, News 4 Tucson Investigator Matthew Schwartz has an exclusive look inside ASDB, including interviews with two former employees. That's tonight at 10, only here on News 4.
