TUCSON - If you take a picture and mix it with a little technology, you get digital art.
Professional photographer, Joe Patronite is doing just that with his iphone.
Patronite said, "It's a tool, it's a fun tool, but it's a tool.
He says photography has come a long way since he started taking photos and keeping up with technology is a challenge.
Patronite says, "I started with black and white film and now working in a digital domain, the technology is just overwhelming all the time."
By looking at some of his incredible pictures, you might not even know they were taken by an iphone, so is there a secret.
Patronite said, "No I don't think there are any secrets in photography anymore."
He'll be the first to admit, there is a little photo shop involved.
"Maybe some little basic work, but all the color imagery is pretty close to how it was shot," Partonite said.
Photoshop or not, people are noticing, now his work is being featured in several art galleries and Patronite says he's glad his iphone photography is turning some heads.
Patronite said, "Whether it's my advertising photography, my magazine photography or now in galleries, it's just nice that people are looking at my work."
If you would like to see some of Patronite's work, you can catch it at Tucson's Botanical Garden during the month of June.
