PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - A state-owned cemetery in Prescott is the final resting place for 10 of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots killed June 30 by the Yarnell Hill Fire but there will be headstones there for the other nine firefighters as well.
Designs are in early stages, but the Daily Courier reports that the headstones will be arranged in a u-shaped pattern with room reserved in the middle for a monument.
The firefighters belonged to a Prescott Fire Department crew. One crew member, a lookout working at a different location, survived.
