Possible cuts at Fort Huachuca?

SIERRA VISTA - The U.S. Army is considering cutting thousands of soldier and civilian positions in order reduce numbers.

Fort Huachuca is one the fort's that could be in the proposed cuts.

If the cuts do happen there could be up to 2,700 soldier and civilian positions impacted at Fort Huachuca.

Local businesses say it would be have a big impact on their business.

A 2008 Maguire study shows that Fort Huachuca has a direct and indirect impact of $2.4 billion dollars annually.
