TUCSON - Governor Jan Brewer is currently accepting applications for the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. Applications received or postmarked later than 5 p.m. Friday, October 12 will not be considered.
The governor is searching for members who are both passionate and knowledgeable about Arizona wildlife and its long-term conservation. Due to the fact that the Game and Fish Commission is required by Arizona law to represent all 15 counties and to be politically-balanced, the Commission vacancy is not available to registered members of the Republican Party, or residents of Apache, Maricopa, Navajo, or Pima counties. However, eligible residents are those of Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Mohave, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai, and Yuma counties, and are encouraged to apply.
Eligible residents may apply online at www.azgovernor.gov/BC/Application07.asp.

The Governor's Office of Boards and Commissions can be reached at (602) 542-2449 or toll free at (800) 253-0883.
