TUCSON - Tucson Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo Friday morning.
Police say the suspect entered the bank in the 5000 of east 22nd street about 11:30 a.m. and approached the teller counter.
He gave the teller a note, which threatened harm and demanded money. The suspect attempted to communicate with the teller, but was not successful to do the fact that the teller did not speak Spanish. Another teller attempted to assist, and the suspect verbally demanded money.
He was denied money and quickly left the bank. He was last seen running eastbound across South Craycroft Road.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 40's, 5'07", and 170 pounds, with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball hat, white t-shirt, dark pants, and white tennis shoes.
Anyone having information about his whereabouts or identity is urged to call 911 or 88-Crime.
