TUCSON - A South Tucson McDonald's manager got quite a scare this week.
Monday morning, two men forced their way through the drive-thru window at the McDonald's on 6th Avenue and 29th street.
The suspects pulled a gun and forced the woman to open the safe.
Then they took off in a grey Toyota, which police say is likely a Camry.
Police released this video that shows the hold up going down.
One suspect is even seen hitting the victim with a closed fist.
"Which was pretty uncalled for...she was being compliant," said Lt. Jeff Inorio with South Tucson Police.
Lt. Inorio said after the two men got inside Monday morning, they went towards the back where the manager was located.
"They took money out of the safe and some personal belongings of the manager," said Lt. Inorio.
Lt. Inorio said luckily, the victim was not seriously injured.
"She was upset, but she didn't require any medical attention," said Lt. Inorio.
South Tucson police said they're investigating every angle of the case, whether the two used to work there or area connected to a string of robberies.
"There has been several robberies in the surrounding area in the past several weeks," said Lt. Inorio. "We want to look at similarities, but more importantly, we want to reach out to the public and see if they recognize anything...the clothing the gun..."
Inorio said the men were described as wearing hoodie sweatshirts and bandanas over their face.
The suspects were seen driving off in a grey newer model vehicle. Police urge anyone who may know where the suspects are located to call 9-1-1 or 88-crime.
