JUPITER, Fla. (AP) - Police say a pregnant woman was among the four people shot to death at a family Thanksgiving gathering in South Florida.

Jupiter Police spokeswoman Sally Collins-Ortiz did not say how far along Lisa Knight was in her pregnancy. She was killed along with her twin sister, 33-year-old Carla Merhige, and 76-year-old aunt Raymonde Joseph.

Police said Friday that a 6-year-old girl, Makayla Sitton, was also killed as she slept in her bed.

Authorities were searching for a relative suspected in their deaths, 35-year-old Paul Michael Merhige.

Jupiter Police Sgt. Scott Pascarella says Merhige left the house where 17 family members had gathered sometime after Thanksgiving dinner Thursday. Pascarella says Merhige returned with a handgun.
