TUCSON - The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who robbed a bank in midtown Monday afternoon.
According to a TPD release, a man entered the Great Western Bank, 2955 E. Grand Rd., at 1:30 p.m., presented a note, and displayed a handgun. He was then seen on foot, heading north from the area of the bank.
Tucson Police officers arrived at the bank minutes after the silent alarm was activated, but the suspect had already left the area with an undisclosed amount of money. No one inside the bank was injured, according to the release.

TPD officials describe the suspect as an Asian male, about 30-years-old with black hair. He weighs about 150 pounds and is between 5'6" and 5'8" tall. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored ball cap, gray t-shirt, dark pants, tan jacket, and oval-shaped wire-frame sunglasses.
Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of this suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
