Police investigating latest homicide

TUCSON - UPDATE: Tucson police continue to investigate the city's latest homicide that left one man dead.

Sgt. Matt Ronstadt with TPD says officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2100 block of East Sunland Vista around 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

When they arrived, officers located several people and found evidence of a physical altercation.

Officers determined that the suspect and the victim left the scene in a vehicle.

Sgt. Ronstadt says the vehicle in question was located a few minutes later in the Circle K parking lot near 36th St. and Campbell Ave.

The suspect had fled the scene.

Officers searched the vehicle and found an adult male, who suffered obvious signs of trauma.

The investigation is ongoing.

There is currently no suspect information at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
