Police identify 3 arrested after home invasion and pursuit

TUCSON - Tucson Police have identified the three men arrested this morning after a home invasion on the south side that started around 6:25 a.m., when police officers responded to the 2800 block of East Paseo la Tierra Buena.

Neighbors reported seeing masked men break in to the house next door. When police got there, they saw a car matching the description of the one driven by the suspects. A brief chase followed, ending in the area of Wyoming and Campbell. Three men were detained and three guns were found in that car.

Eleazar Ochoca, 37, Carlos Vasquez, 21, and Ricardo Beltran Leon, 38, were each charged with one count of the following: Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery and Aggravated Robbery. Each was also charged with four counts of kidnapping, and more charges are pending.

TPD officials believe two other people and a vehicle may also be involved in this incident, but their role in unclear at this time.
