TUCSON - Police say a man was seen dumping a woman's body in a midtown dumpster at about 2 a.m. this morning.

A neighbor saw the man dump the body at and chased him, but he got away, police confirm to News 4 Tucson. This happened at Sparkman Blvd. and Monte Vista Rd., near Glenn St. and Country Club Rd.

Police found no signs of trauma on the woman's body when they pulled it from the dumpster.

Tucson Police are searching for the suspect - described as a tall African-American man in a white t-shirt. They made contact with one man matching that description, but no arrests have been made.

The scene was cleared at about 8:30 a.m.
