Police asking for public's help locating woman missing since Sept. 8

TUCSON - Police are asking the public's help in locating a woman missing since September 8, 2012.

Victoria Delgado, 37, was last seen at about 9:30 p.m. September 8 at a residence in the 2400 block of North Haskell, near Alvernon and Grant, according to a news release from the Tucson Police Department. Investigators say she was last seen in the company of a man known as "Dizzy" or "Drake."

Police describe her as a Hispanic woman, 5-foot-3-inches tall, about 110 pounds in weight, with brown hair and brown eyes.

"As time has passed, concern for her welfare has increased due to the fact that she has not had any communication with her family, has not used her cellular telephone, and has not used her bank or credit card accounts," police stated in the news release. "The lack of these activities is very unusual."

Anyone with information on Delgado's whereabouts is asked by police to call 911 so that her welfare can be checked.
