TUCSON - Police have identified and arrested a man they say attempted to rob a south side bank Friday afternoon.
At about 1:18 p.m. Friday, Tucson Police officers responded to the Pima Federal Credit Union at 2455 E. Valencia Road, near Tucson Blvd.
Detectives learned 22-year-old Rosalio Monge, Jr. entered the bank and gave a threatening note that demanded money to the teller. The teller refused to give him money, and he ran off.
With the help of South Tucson Police, Monge was arrested Friday evening at his residence after a report of a domestic disturbance.
