CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - The Federal Aviation Administration said Wednesday a light plane has crashed at Chandler Municipal Airport.
FAA spokesman Ian Gregor in Los Angeles said the Piper Cherokee crashed on the airport infield between two runways just before 9 a.m. A passenger and a flight instructor were onboard.
Gregor said the passenger suffered serious injuries and the pilot suffered minor injuries according to preliminary information.
Investigators were being sent to the scene.
