PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police want to return hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of valuables found in the home of a former Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport baggage handler suspected of taking items from luggage.

Approximately three dozen victims were already identified through the stolen property.

To find the rest, the Phoenix Police Property Crimes Unit task force created a hot line with Sky Harbor.

Police arrested 23-year-old Michael Hegstad of Chandler who worked for the baggage contractor Elite Line Services.

Hegstad was arrested Sept. 2 in connection with stealing the valuables from passengers' luggage for at least eight months.

Any potential victims are asked to call the hot line at 602-495-7827.
