PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are trying to identify two men who reportedly opened fire on two other men as they drove away from a convenience store.

Police spokesman officer James Holmes says 20-year-old Francisco Juarez and his 19-year-old friend drove to a Circle K store on Hatcher Road near North Central Avenue early Sunday morning and saw two men outside who asked them to buy alcohol for them.

Juarez and his friend told the men they couldn't buy beer because they were underage. They shook hands with the men and drove away.

The two men followed them in an older white Lincoln Towncar with rear bumper damage and opened fire, killing Juarez and slightly wounding his friend.

Police say they need help identifying the men in the Lincoln.
