PHOENIX (AP) - Operations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are back to normal after police had to clear a Terminal 4 ticket counter to check out a possible suspicious item.
Airport officials say all employees and passengers were moved out of the counter area of Terminal 4 about 11:30 a.m. Monday and there were road restrictions outside the second level of the terminal.
Airport officials say the situation was resolved by police by 1 p.m. and the ticket counter was reopened.
They didn't immediately provide details on the item that was found.
Terminal 4 serves US Airways, Southwest Airlines, Aeromexico, Air Canada, AirTran, British Airways and WestJet.
