Pedestrian struck, closes Valencia and Country Club

TUCSON - The intersection of Valencia and Country Club is expected to remain closed for a few hours after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicles, police said.
It happened just after 10 a.m., according to Tucson Police Department spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer.
Details are limited, but police say the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
