Pedestrian struck and killed Sunday morning

TUCSON- A pedestrian was struck and killed near East 22nd Street and South Alvernon Way Sunday morning.
According to Tucson Police Sergeant Chris Widmer, an adult male was struck just before 8 a.m.
Widmer says the male was transported to the hospital, but died due to his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and traffic will be restricted around the area until investigators are done.
