Pedestrian dies after struck by car near Limberlost/Campbell

TUCSON - A man was killed after he was hit by a car near the intersection of Limberlost and Campbell, according to police.

Tucson Police received a call around 6:30pm on Friday about an accident involving a pedestrian and a car. The victim did not survive his injuries.

Police could not immediately provide information regarding the identity of the victim.

The intersection was closed for several hours as investigators worked the area to figure out the details in this case. The street was re-opened shortly after 10 p.m.

Police ruled out alcohol and drugs for the drivers in this case.
