PCSO releases details on shooting

TUCSON - Shortly before 10:11 a.m. this morning, a 22-year-old man opened fire with a pistrol with an extended magazine on the crowd gathered at the political event, injuring 18 people, including Rep. Giffords, and killing at least 6, Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Rick Kastigar confirmed in a news conference.

Sheriff's are "in the process of serving multiple search warrants at multiple locations to garner more information," Kastigar says. He says it is not clear whether or not the shooter acted alone, but would not confirm that there was a second shooter at the scene.
