TUCSON - The Pima County Sheriff's Department said an attempted robbery suspect has been located and charged.
On July 20, Sean Rivera, 18, went to the Walgreens at 13542 East Colassal Cave Road and asked the store employee for a pack of cigarettes.
As the store clerk rang up the cigarettes, Rivera told her he left his wallet in his car.
He then threatened her, and told the employee to empty the cash register drawer, PCSD said.
Rivera quickly left from the store and got into a vehicle.
No weapon was implied or used during the course of the interaction and the suspect did not get away with any money or store items, and the store employee was not injured, PCSD said.
Rivera was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on one count of Attempted Robbery.
PCSD is still searching for the driver of the vehicle Sean Rivera was in. PCSD does not have a description for the driver.
