OVPD warns the community about recent mail thefts

Oro Valley - The Oro Valley Police Department has a warning for the community. Someone has been breaking into mailboxes and stealing whatever is inside.

It's happened in the communities of Seasons Loop Ave/Sterling, Heather Glenn Place/Glenn Abbey Place and Eton Drive/First Ave between Dec. 21-22. A black Ford F150 pick-up truck was seen in the area where these thefts occurred.

OVPD advises you check your bank accounts and credit card statements and notify the police if there is any unusual activity on their accounts. And remember, do not leave delivered packages outside for extended periods of time and do not send cash in the mail.
