ORO VALLEY - A search is now underway for a 31-year-old man believed to have gotten lost while hiking in the Catalina State Park on Sunday, according to Oro Valley Police.

Police have not released the man's name, but Lt. Kara Riley says he is from out of state, and is visiting with relatives in Oro Valley.

Police say the man was last seen at 8:30 a.m., Sunday. Police say he is not familiar with the area. They believe he went for a hike and got lost.

Police are working with a search team with the Pima County Sheriff's Department to find the man.
