Oro Valley woman sentenced for sexual exploitation of a minor

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - An Oro Valley woman has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for sexual exploitation of minor.

Pima County prosecutors say 44-year-old Melissa Ann Gordy pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor in the second degree.

She also was sentenced to lifetime probation.

Court documents say Gordy and her husband sexually molested a 14-year-old female relative in March 2012.

The documents also state that Gordy videotaped some of the incidents.

Gordy's husband, Charles Wesley Lewis, is facing dozens of charges related to the abuse. He's scheduled to stand trial in September.
