Oro Valley to lift fireworks ban this week

ORO VALLEY - A ban on fireworks will be lifted in Oro Valley Wednesday.
The Golder Ranch Fire Chief reviewed fire potential data before determining the current fire conditions allow for the lifting of the ban.
"We appreciate the assistance from the Golder Ranch Fire District and the Fire Chief in continuing to evaluate the fire conditions," said Greg Caton, Town Manager. "Fortunately, the conditions have significantly improved and we are comfortable lifting the ban."
