TUCSON - For the third consecutive day, Tucson has achieved record heat. The mercury topped-off at 86 degrees, beating the old record of 83 set in 2004.
Record heat should stick around for Tuesday as strong high pressure remains in charge.
A storm system will move out of the Pacific Northwest by Wednesday, and we turn breezy and cooler. Highs will lower into the mid to upper 70s with partly cloudy skies.
This cool-down won't last long as we flirt with 80 again by the weekend.
