TUCSON - One man was killed in an overnight roll-over on Interstate 10 at Ina Road and another was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Northwest Fire Capt. Adam Goldberg said that crews responded to 9-1-1 calls about the roll-over just before 3 a.m. on Sunday.
First responders found a Chevy pick-up with heavy damage which rolled into the median.
Firefighters and paramedics found two men inside the vehicle. One was removed with minor injuries.
The other man died at the scene. That individual was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Goldberg.
"Northwest Fire reminds everyone that seat belts save lives and that all occupants of any moving vehicle must be in seat belts at all times. Drivers should be well rested for driving to avoid drowsy driver incidents," Goldberg said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. No other vehicles were involved.
