TUCSON - One person is dead after the vehicle they were driving hit a brick wall this morning on a road near Drexel and Country Club.

Luis Carlos Zapien Duran, 20, has been identified as the driver and sole occupant of a car that struck a brick wall in the 3200 block of East Holladay Street this morning at around 5 a.m., according to a news release from Pima County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators say the car was traveling west on Holladay when it crossed to the south shoulder of the roadway and struck the wall. Speed, alcohol, and drugs are possible factors in the collision, authorities state.
