TUCSON - Below average temps on tap for the third straight day.
High pressure parks over the West Coast this week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This pattern, known as an "omega block", provides sunny skies and highs in the low 80's today. Highs remain in the 80's for most of the work week.
Gusty winds return to the forecast tomorrow through Thursday, gusting to 20 MPH. The fire danger and blowing dust threat appear to be minimal at this time.
The persistent omega block pattern breaks down over the weekend, bringing 90° temps back to the Old Pueblo.
