TUCSON- Tucson native and 2012 bronze medalist, Caitlin Leverenz, gave back to the community this Thanksgiving week.

Leverenz stopped by at the University of Arizona Medical Center Diamond Children's Friday to greet patients, family and staff.

Leverenz is a Sahuaro High School graduate. Her mom works as a nurse at Diamond Children's.

During the 2012 London Olympics games, Leverenz earned a bronze medal in the 200-meter individual medley.
