WICKENBURG, Ariz. (AP) - The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a plane found buried in a wash.

KNXV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/YGX4XA) that deputies say the plane was discovered in a wash just west of Wickenburg.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman Chris Hegestrom says it looks like the plane has been there for a while.

He says investigators will be out Monday morning to investigate.

No further information was available.
