Officers respond to shots fired call at Tucson Mall

TUCSON - Tucson Police are trying to figure out who fired shots outside Tucson Mall on the start of a busy shopping weekend Friday night.

Police responded to reports of shots being fired at a car about 7 p.m. on the north side of the mall near Macy's.

By the time they arrived, any possible victims or suspects were gone.

Officers did recover shell casings at the scene.

Police tell News 4 shoppers were not in danger and no shots were fired inside the mall.
