TUCSON - Finally feeling like Fall in a few days.
Daytime highs today and tomorrow reach the upper 80's, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This is in response to a high pressure ridge over the Four Corners. Like the last couple days, expect mostly sunny skies the next 48 hours.
Temperatures begin to cool down heading into next week thanks to two weather makers. The first is a low pressure trough, which was formerly Hurricane Paul. This trough passes through the state Sunday, dropping highs to the mid 80's.
A second reinforcing shot of Fall temps comes from a large trough parked over the West Coast. By Thursday of next week, we'll see daytime highs in the low 80's for Tucson with ample sunshine. No rainfall is anticipated with either storm system over the next 7 days.
