LACONIA, NH - Mitt Romney has taken to the airways to deny he was still with the private equity firm he founded when it was sending jobs overseas.
The Republican candidate says he had "no role whatsoever in the management" of Bain Capital after early 1999, despite conflicting federal documents.
Romney also says he will only release another year of tax returns. Critics say he should be more transparent about his finances.
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama is spending time campaigning in Virginia, a key election battleground. Speaking in Hampton Roads, Obama renewed calls to extend Bush-era tax breaks for those earning $250,000 or less. He accused Republicans of holding middle-class tax cuts "hostage."
