NW Fire spokeswoman Katy Heiden dies after battle with cancer

TUCSON - Northwest Fire District Public Information Officer Katy Heiden passed away this weekend.
Heiden, 54, fought a short, but courageous battle with cancer, Capt. Adam Goldberg, spokesman for Northwest Fire District said.
Heiden passed away with her family and friends at her side, Goldberg said.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be released once they are available.
