TUCSON - Another 80 degree day rounds out the long holiday weekend.
High pressure still hanging on over the southwest will keep keep temperatures 10-15 degrees above average today, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. A forecast high of 83 this afternoon would make for the fifth straight day with temperatures in the 80s for Tucson. Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties will once again peak in the mid 70s under sunny skies.
A slight cool down gets the upcoming work week kicked off as a low pressure trough moves into the Rockies. Daytime highs will drop back into the mid to upper 70s as soon as Monday with little change expected to round out the month of November. Even with the slightly cooler temperatures ahead the highs remain above normal by 5-8 degrees.
