Tucson- Every holiday season Northwest Fire Charities invite the public and local businesses to Stuff the Truck events all over the city.

The goal is to provide non-perishable food, toys, and cash to families in need, donated by the community.

Sunday's event was held at the Foothills Mall. Firefighters were on hand to help stuff the truck and thank the all participants.

While another event is scheduled for December 8th, items can be dropped off at any Northwest Fire station through December 22nd.

Upcoming event and stations accepting donations:

Saturday, December 8 -Buckelew Tree Sales (SW corner of Ina and La Cholla) from 9am - 9pm

All NWFD fire stations will also be accepting food, toy and cash donations for the Holiday Assistance Program, 7 days a week, from 8am - 8pm, through Saturday, December 22. Station locations include:
