One local non-profit organization we visited hopes people will find that giving spirit because they are feeling the pinch this year. The holidays are here and with Christmas around the corner now's the time to donate.
Armando Duarte says, "We usually have Santa clause fly in on a helicopter at ten o'clock and he'll land at the rodeo grounds."
On Christmas Eve for the last 39 years Ramon Gonzales has made miracles happen on 31st street.
Ramon Gonzales says, "Hopefully I can make it to the 40th.
Ramon gives needy families a Christmas with help, last year he collected over ten thousand toys.
Armando Duarte says, "You couldn't even see the fireplace the toys were stacked up you couldn't turn the ceiling fan on it was so high of toys, and usually our living room to is pretty packed with nowhere to sit and nowhere to watch TV."
This year it's a different story.
Armando Duarte says, "We have zero toys this year and zero money."
That's why Ramon and Armando are hoping for a holiday miracle this year.
Ramon Gonzales says, "Lets make them happy let's give them a very happy merry Christmas."
So Ramon can enjoy his 40th holiday tradition along with families who wouldn't have a Christmas without him.
